Cheyenne is settled in his job and loving it. Karis and I are learning how to fill our days and are counting down to cooler weather so we can go outside more! We have the hugest yard ever and love running around and playing in the cooler evenings!
Karis started walking our second week here! Going from having no room to move around at all to having all the room one could want might have something to do with that!! Within a day from first starting she was already trying to run! She loves tagging along with Cheyenne while he does chores (feeds the barn cats, dogs, water the cows and feed/water chickens and collect eggs) and chases the chickens around saying "bawk bawk bawk bawk"!!!! (yes we live on a farm and this is soooooo not OC!!).
We've already been able to visit my (Alison's) grandparents & Aunt & Uncle in Lexington, MO which is 5 hours away for a weekend, and Karis and I went to Kansas City to help my brother Tim and his wife Ira unpack in their new house (which means I got to clean another house and unpack!!) and help set things up!
We've had our first California visitors too!!! Fayth and Brad came for 6 days and it was so much fun!! They even brought us new California Rainbow Sandals!!!!!! We got to show them all over our towns and where we've been exploring! It was like fresh air!! So who's coming to visit us next???!! :)
Cheyenne even got promoted at work to Director of Online Education! He loves his job and we've been meeting so many great people who are part of the CCC family! We already got Karis her very own CCC t-shirt for when we go to the school games! We are excited to be part of college ministry and to get more involved!
We have even found a church we love! It's a small community Church but they are growing and the people are so welcoming and caring!! We even signed up to be part of a small group that's starting later this month!

These all make me miss you even more than I already do! Life just isn't the same..l I can't wait to visit you and see your life there!!!
